The most common question folks ask is, “Will this blaster do my job?”.
Blasters are not job specific. They are simply a tool used to dispense media into an air stream. With a change of media, nozzle size, and technique you can: take the paint off a car, eliminate rust on old farm implements, polish aluminum and stainless steel, etch a tombstone, clean scum off pool tiles, freshen weathered log cabins, remove furniture finishes, and brighten up years worth of buildup on concrete driveways, walkways, and steps. The list is only limited by your imagination. Blasters are very versatile tools with virtually unlimited uses.
What size nozzle do I need?
Please refer to our Compressor Nozzle Match page for more information.
Will the blaster shoot this media?
Yes, Texas Blaster units will hold any media desired. What kind of media used is up to you. Texas Blasters can be used with aluminum oxide, baking soda, coal, corncob, glass, plastic beads, sand, shell, and steel shot just to name a few. With a Texas Blaster and your choice of media, you can clean everything from granite, marble, and hardened steel to aluminum, brass, and copper. This includes brick, cement, ceramic, CMU, glass, fiberglass, limestone, and stucco too.
Do you sell blast media?
Nope. We just make Texas Blasters and focus on building a really good tool.
Do you offer help if I can’t get my blaster up and running?
Absolutely. In fact, we take pride in our technical help. If you are having trouble getting a Texas Blaster working properly, give us a holler. Since we use Texas Blasters too, we know what they will do and how to do it. Texas Blasters work. Period.
You don’t offer a warranty?
Sure we do. Per our terms and conditions we warrant to the original Buyer that equipment manufactured or sold by Texas Blaster will be free of defects in material and workmanship for a period of three months from the date of purchase. Texas Blasters are not complicated machines with moving parts that provide mechanical advantage to perform work. They are simple tools that reliably and consistently meter blast media into an air stream. They do this using a minimal amount of commonly available parts that rarely, if ever fail (the only moving parts on the entire unit are commonly available ball-valves). In the event something fails or doesn’t work to your expectations, we are here to resolve all your concerns.
Is there a return policy?
After 60 years we know what we build and we know it works. If you use it then it’s a used tool and we don’t sell used tools. Therefore there are no returns after you’ve used it. However, we are people too and we understand buyer’s remorse. If the tank is unused and still in its original box, we will refund original amount less all original shipping costs and up to a 25% restocking fee. For more information on our return policy and instructions on how to return, please contact us.
Well, what if it’s a piece of junk that doesn’t work like you say?
It does. Our longevity is a testament to this. We are too small and honest a company to have survived 60 years selling junk. We are always here to listen and resolve any concerns that may arise. Contact us here: Tech Support
